SWAMS is governed by a Governing Committee, each of whom is elected every three years by the membership at an Annual General Meeting.

The Governing Committee consists of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and four other Members.

The Governing Committee is responsible for the management of the Service such that the service may meet its objectives as set out in the Constitution.

A copy of the "Rule Book" is available to all staff and is available upon request to the Personal Assistant.

The Governing Committee delegates the day to day management of the Organisation to the Chief Executive Officer.
